We are delighted to present you the latest issue of the Bread Newspaper No. 26! This issue is all about commitment and tradition. With exciting stories and inspiring projects, we would like to show you how we are working for a better future – in Zermatt and beyond.

Sangira Project: Creating Perspectives in Rwanda
A focus of this issue is our involvement in the Sangira project in Rwanda. Together with the "Talents Bakery," we offer young people new career prospects through training programs in the hospitality and catering industries. Jackie Helfenberger, the project's initiator, provides fascinating insights into the origins and impact of the Sangira association in an interview. We are particularly proud of how the bakery's profits contribute to funding the hotel school—a great example of sustainable development.
Collaboration with Fuchs
In this issue, Philipp Fuchs talks about our collaboration with the "Talents Bakery." With donations of goods, machinery, and professional expertise, we support the trainees in Rwanda in producing high-quality baked goods. One highlight is the Swiss carrot cake, which is reinterpreted at the "Talents Bakery" – with creative alternatives to almonds and hazelnuts, which are difficult to obtain locally. This combination of Swiss tradition and Rwandan innovation demonstrates what craftsmanship can achieve.
